Mitchell's was the official Philly-Area co-sponsor of the Fiend Magazine North American Yo-Yo Tour. We were lucky enuff to meet lots of people we had only read about and to see lots of Warped Tour fans in their underwear. For more pics and Mark McBride's commentary - see http://www.fiendmagazine.com/tour/logs/July21.

Mark McBride awards just some of the fantastic prizes given each day to the 'winners' of the 'contests' in Philly. It's amazing what a large percentage of girls were 'randomly picked' by Mark. |

Steve Brown showed off his revolutionary new 'Freehand' yo-yo stylings. 'Freehand' Yoing involves attaching the part of the string that is usually on your finger to some other object - in Steve's case - a Casino Die. This lets the yo'er have complete freedom of movement. He can switch hands mid-trick, spin the die around his finger along with the yo-yo or even tag-team with another yo'er by passing the yo-yo to the other player. If you have a chance to see Steve perform, do not miss it! It was wild!
